**Our partner is an international healthcare organisation. They are seeking an experienced accountant to lead their core accounting function, and offer strategic insight and reporting.**

**_Responsibilities_**
- Budget monitoring & analysis, and preparing the monthly management accounts, and other management reports.
- Lead the core accounting team, overseeing the integrity and accuracy of core finance data, for assessing, strengthening and developing new financial processes.
- Manage unrestricted grant activity, ensuring costs are accounted for accurately, and undertake timely reviews and reconciliations.
- Oversight of balance sheet reconciliations
- Working with the Systems Accountant to strengthen systems processes.

**_Requirements_**
- Qualified accountant with significant experience in an international financial accounting role, including experience of preparing statutory accounts and preparing and successfully passing a year-end audit, and demonstrable knowledge of UK GAAP and CharitiesSORP.
- Experience of working in an organisation with overseas operations, and of working in a multi-currency environment.
- Financial rigour, strong analytics skills.
- Strong IT skills and advanced MSExcel skills
- Demonstrable experience of leading a team, strong team building skills
- Genuine interest in the work done by the organisation.
