Due to high demand a position has arisen for an experienced **Account Handler** to join a small but well-established and growing independent insurance brokerage in Watford.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

- Assisting the sales effort regarding client/prospect needs analysis, competitor analysis, pitch preparation
- Providing new business quotations for Property Owners and/or High Net Worth Home Insurance
- Taking instructions from new and existing clients, being accountable for carrying out the full policy cycle, from first inception through to renewals, rebroking and MTAs
- Checking thoroughly all client documentation before despatch, ensuring queries are raised and amendments completed

To be considered for an **Account Handler** role you must have relevant insurance broking experience and be able to work quickly within a system, efficiently and to a high level of accuracy.

In addition, the following skills and experience are preferred:

- An aptitude for sales and placing new business is highly desired
- Experience with Acturis is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of the insurance broking landscape
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of relevant insurance products and regulation
- Good knowledge of MS Office packages
