We have an exciting opportunity for a **Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer**to join our Maintenance team based in Hinckley, Leicestershire on a permanent full-time basis, 37.5 hours per week, on a rotating shift pattern of 08:00 - 16:00 and 16:00 to 00:00.
THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
No two days are the same for our **Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer’s**, but they all have the common goal to ensure business equipment and building infrastructure is available and operational for our people.
As our **Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer,**you will accomplish this by putting your talents and experience to action by ensuring that all reactive and planned preventative activities are owned and managed to completion, as well as participatingin critical construction and infrastructure projects
To help ensure the smooth-running of the maintenance department, here are few key duties you will be expected to perform as our **Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer**on a regular basis:
- Taking a proactive approach in driving continuous improvement ideas and projects within agreed timescales.
- Ensure all relevant reports are completed and contain required level of data, timesheets, engineer’s reports and handover documentation and information inputted in the CCMS (Tablet) is thorough and correct
- Identifying spares required on-site in need of breakdown to reduce downtime.
- Taking responsibility for individual and others health and safety, ensuring health and safety policies are adhered and near miss and hazards are reported when witnessed.
AM I SUITABLE FOR THIS ROLE?
To have the opportunity to get involved in all the above and more, you will need to have experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer or similar and the have the ability to interpret technical drawings including PLC, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanicaldrawings.
Due to the fast-paced nature of our business, a ‘right first time’ attitude and efficient work ethic is key and experience working Siemens S7 is desirable as is a recognised trades maintenance qualification.
