Main Tasks of Job:
Support the residential support workers, mainitaining a smooth running of the home.Having oversight of the homes rota, supporting the Deputy Manager with additional admin and supportive tasks. Medical admininstration, Finance managment, Health and safety checks, Daily maintenance and quality checks.

1) Assisting with personal care including; bathing, washing, shaving, oral hygiene and hair care, dressing, undressing and assist with all toilet and continence requirements. Ensuring that Service Users have given their consent prior to any examination, care, treatment or support taking place and that all Service Users are treated with respect.

2) General light domestic duties including laundry and ironing.

3) Assisting with the cooking of light meals, preparing snacks and the provision of beverages.

4) Carrying out tasks as specified in the Service User’s individual service/care plan, taking action to enable the Service User to carry out as much self-care and other activities as possible.

5) Helping with handling the service users’ money in respect of the payments, including shopping. Ensuring accurate and up to date records are kept.

6) Assisting with pet care, including feeding and walking.

7) Transporting service users to local amenities and to medical appointments, school and back.

8) Contributing to accurate and detailed record keeping whilst maintaining the Service.

9) Contribute to the team effort.

10) Drivers license

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.00-£13.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift

COVID-19 considerations:
All RSW are required to wear PPE In line with covid regulations.

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Residential Childcare: 2 years (preferred)
- Support Environment: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- NVQ Level 3 children's and young peoples workforce (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day shift (preferred)
- Night shift (preferred)
- Overnight shift (preferred)

Work Location: On the road
