We’re looking for a Brand Apprentice in our Customer Service Team to join our award-wining apprenticeship programme. You’ll learn customer services the Thatchers way through our Brand Academy and Weston College.

We will support you to complete a full L3 Customer Service Apprenticeship, alongside Weston College, at the end of which you will be offered a permanent role with one of our teams. At the beginning of your journey, we will create a training plan that meetsyour individual needs and will then develop your skills and knowledge through a range of business events and networking opportunities.

The Role
As a Brand Apprentice in the Customer Service Team, you’ll learn everything there is to know about delivering outstanding customer service. You’ll take on a full-time role with days out to spend at college to reinforce your practical skills with academic knowledge.
Your role will be predominately based on the phones in customer service. This department will give you the best insight and grounding into our business for you to learn, develop and grow.
The Customer Service team are also responsible and accountable for the Thatchers Cider Shop as well as the online sales orders, and fulfillment of getting items out to our customers. You really will be exposed to all areas of customer service within this role,putting the customer at the heart of everything.
You will also experience all areas of the business during your induction. Understanding all there is to know about our brand and products - from the process of making, packaging, delivering and marketing our world class cider.Should you take an interest andshow capability in a specific area of the business, providing it’s right, we will work with you to support and train you into a different role/ department after your apprenticeship.
Specifically, you will learn how to:
- Manage incoming and outgoing calls to customers
- Be confident in using our bespoke IT software
- Place customer orders and assist with promotional items/POS
- Create delivery schedules
- Process installation requests and repairs for customers
- Manage and process any customer returns
- Complete monthly reporting
- Manage the Thatchers Cider Shop - both customer front facing and all the administration
- Packaging online sales to go out to customers
About You
To be considered as a Brand Apprentice, you will need:
- GCSE Maths and English at grade 4/C or above, or Level 2 Functional skills or equivalent
- Good level of IT skills
- Analysing data and preparing reports
- Good telephone manner
- Highly organised
