**We have exciting opportunities to join our well-established and growing Day Center Service**as a **Support Worker** in **Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland**

Our Service runs from** Monday - Friday so you would not be required to work weekends**, which is great for someone looking for work life balance within the care sector. This role is **25 hours per week**, working **Monday to Friday**, **9:30am to 2:30pm.**

You will be supporting individuals who have a range of complex needs, including sensory loss and learning disabilities. Our residents to do the activities they enjoy; this might include sports, acting, trips to the theatre, cooking, or supporting someone to attend social events. Helping to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing. Within the service there are 4 weeks of fixed leave to allow for center closures. (1 week Easter, 1 week July and 2 weeks Christmas and New Year period)

- Willing to attend training as needed to support you in your role.
- A full UK Drivers License is desirable for this role.

**This role in Carrickfergus might include supporting people with**:

- Everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning.
- Personal care and hygiene.
