**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Deliver high-quality patient care, assisting with personal hygiene, mobility, and daily living activities.
- Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring adherence to medication administration protocols.
- Conduct basic life support and assist in physical examinations as required.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and observations, using appropriate medical terminology.
- Employ aseptic techniques when handling medical equipment and during procedures.
- Assist in triage situations, prioritising patient needs effectively.
- Provide support during critical care situations, utilising knowledge of physiology and anatomy.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Perform heavy lifting when necessary to assist patients or move equipment safely.
- Drive patients to appointments or transport them as required.
**Experience**
- Proven experience in a healthcare setting, preferably within a hospital environment or critical care unit.
- Familiarity with administering injections and understanding of relevant medical procedures.
- Knowledge of physiology and anatomy is essential for effective patient care.
- Previous experience in triage or emergency response is advantageous.
**Job Types**: Freelance, Zero hours contract
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
