Our client is a well-established, national training provider based in Grimsby, this role will be working predominantly across Lincolnshire and Yorkshire, providing funded training programmes. Due to the expansion and forward-thinking direction of the companythey are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager. The purpose of this role is to engage employers in supporting learners in their transition to gaining employment.

**Job Duties**:

- Engage with a range of employers for potential progression opportunities for learners
- Match appropriate learners to vacancies
- Develop effective working relationships with employers, ensuring opportunities for learners progression are maximised
- Maintain learner and employer records within manual and electronic management information systems, generating reports, data and statistics
- Deal with external queries, providing effective customer service
- Be an ambassador for the company at all times

**Requirements**:

- Experience of recruitment and sales, ideally within a B2B environment
- Experience of effective engagement with employers and learners
- Experience of successfully achieving targets, together with the ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, take responsibility, use initiative and be proactive, incorporating flexibility when required
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, to produce internal and external reports;
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent presentation skills, including use of PowerPoint
