**Position**: Domestic Cleaner

**Reporting to**: House Manager

**Location**:Ugbrooke House, Chudleigh, Devon

**Responsible for**: NA

**Contract**:Permanent (20 - 30 hours per week)

**Main purpose of the role**: To work as part of a small team to ensure that the planned household cleaning schedule is implemented

**Key Skills**:

**Responsibilities**:

- Carry out all household tasks as stipulated by the House Manager, Housekeeping Supervisor and Principles to include all aspects of cleaning to a high standard. Laundry, cleaning, ironing and care of antiques and fixtures.
- Undertake required serving and clearing for events, house opening and shoot season.
- Ensure all work complies to required Health and Safety standards.
- Communicate any household issues, deficiencies or repairs to the House Manager.
- Work alongside external contractors as required.
- Liaise with the House Manager and other teams to ensure all work being undertaken which affects other departments is communicated.
- Provide a high level of service for visiting clients and members of the public during, events, shoots, and open days.
- Flexibility with hours required.
- Undertake ad hoc tasks as required.

**Knowledge and experience**:

- Experienced in delivering high quality domestic work (within an estate setting desirable)
- Ability to work to a schedule.
- Experience and knowledge of working with a variety of cleaning products, tools and machinery
- Understanding of Health and Safety requirements
- Training can be provided for the right person

Driving Licence

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25-35 per week

**Salary**: £11.50 per hour
