We are metal fabrication company, we fabricate household components and custom items as per customer request.

**Job description**

Weldpress is looking for a full time Metal Fabricator to join our team.
We are located in B&S Business Centre, 505-507 Saffron Lane, LE2 6JW, Leicester.

Qualifications: Mig Welding.
Manufacturing experience is required, **at least 2 years**.

**Duties**:

- Fabrication and welding of products according to the customer orders.
- Organizes work by checking work schedule.
- Supports work processes by inspecting, preparing, sorting, weighing, measuring, cutting, adding, trimming, drilling, grinding, sanding, bending and loading materials.
- Maintains clean and safe work site by removing scrap; sweeping and wiping down work area; disposing of trash / recycle materials; following safety rules and procedures; wearing personal protective equipment at all times.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintains work supplies and materials by reading work orders; locating and verifying items in inventory; loading items on trucks or pull-carts; moving items to designated areas; unloading items.
- Positions parts and sub-assemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
- Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
- Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Maintains work records by entering production statistics, and materials and supplies used.
- Help with Packaging and shipping product.
- Working Overtime short notice.

**Benefits**:
*Full time contract (12 weeks trial period)
*5 Working Days, Monday - Friday 08:00-16:30 (Sometime required work on Sunday. depends on weekends orders.)
