In your role as a Senior Care Professional at Home Instead, you will be providing the very best companionship, home help and personal care services for people who wish to remain happy, safe, and independent in their home. Your visits will be a minimum of one hour, potentially much more and will be a combination of home help, companionship, and personal care.

**Job Description**:
**The Role Requirements**
- You must own your transport and have a full UK driving licence for this role
- Working Monday-Friday and an alternate weekend, visits could potentially be any time between 7am-10pm.
- Provide care throughout our franchise area - Stevenage, Letchworth, Hitchin, Royston and surrounding villages. Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients through care visits, giving our clients a real sense of security, dignity and independence. Hours may be required in the office for admin related tasks.
- Provide Care for clients as and when necessary, sometimes without prior introduction.
- Be able to adapt quickly to emergencies and/or other unforeseen circumstances ensuring all visits always take place.
- You will also be required to provide support visits to our existing staff, supporting the Quality Assurance manager, maintaining the highest standards of care and you'll be a real influence on the rest of the team.
- Provide out of hours “on call” assistance on a rotational basis. This is shared between the office staff and is approximately 1 in 8 weeks (weekday).
- Work directly with the office management team to develop business and support the team. To have pride in your work; the want to work ‘above and beyond’ and have high standards of commitment and achievement as well as a continuous desire for improvement, both personally and organisationally.
- Always maintain confidentiality for all Home Instead Information, including client, Care Professional & office data.
- Participate in team meetings as and when required.

**Qualification Requirements**:
- You will have an S/NVQ 2 or 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or be willing to work towards this. A background in person-centred care and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
- What's essential, though, are your brilliant, positive energy and natural ability to get along with people.
