**eCommerce Trading Manager**
With huge growth across Ecommerce, this company is looking to recruit a dynamic commercially driven Ecommerce Trading Manager to support cross group performance of our Ecommerce platforms.
The role will be responsible for optimising the customer journey to drive conversion rates and improve website performance. You will take a strategic lead in formulating the sites day to day category trading plans, managing promotional landing pages basedon the trade and marketing calendar, managing promotional pushes based on the wider trading calendar and ensure all categories and products are fully optimised. You will understand the customers journey and continuously strive to improve this.
You will use situational analysis to identify opportunities and set KPIs. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining analytical reporting, continuously reporting on progress to date. You will be passionate about our purpose and customer satisfaction,ensuring they have an outstanding online shopping experience with relevant and curated experiences on site.
**Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities**
- Managing the day-to-day trading and optimisation of sites with responsibility for performance KPI's.
- Working with category teams to understand and build the position of sites in-line with strategy. In turn reporting commercial analysis and insights to product teams to better align product for future growth.
- Working with the head of category & finance to forecast out targets ensuring your team and the site not only meet but exceed.
- Managing daily site walkthroughs to highlight areas of opportunity or concern.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to plan the eCommerce trading calendar, leading the delivery, and reporting of all on-site promotions, launches and content activity.
- Ensuring full alignment with the marketing team and working with the wider business to ensure onsite activity is being supported through all other relevant channels.
- Using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, DataStudio and Hotjar to build reports and feedback on the performance of the websites. Providing dashboard reports, onsite changes, and narrative to support observations where necessary
- Reporting on trade, providing detailed analysis of key business drivers and producing action plans to ensure targets are met.
- Analysing industry seasonal sales patterns to maintain commercial awareness ensuring that we are staying relevant to our customers whilst having an awareness of key competitors and their trading activity.
- Collating and improving product data and imagery, supporting teams to resolve any issues as quickly as possible to optimise online sales.
- Working with supply team on stock allocations - using on site analysis to maximise sales, margin and cover.
- Ensuring the sites reflect the brand look, feel and tone of voice at all times.
**Knowledge & Skills Required**
- Excellent eCommerce experience gained within a consumer goods, retail environment, preferably in outdoor, lifestyle, sports and leisure.
- A proven track record of managing processes and people to effectively deliver a best-in-class online experience.
- Strong knowledge of eCommerce platforms and functionality, ideally with experience of working on the Visual Soft platform.
- Strong commercial acumen, excellent stakeholder management, relationship building skills and the ability to influence.
- A self-starter, able to work autonomously and within teams, positive and inspiring manager, team player and a confident communicator.
- Accountable by nature with the desire to make an impact. Keen to take ownership in a role with confidence and enthusiasm.
- Ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines.
