**_Role Title: _**Plant Administrator
**_Location: _**Longstanton
**_Contracted Hours: _**40 hours per week
**_Salary: _**_£ _21-24K
**Overview of Role**
Provide Plant items on demand, providing best quality/value for money. Ensure a smooth, speedy ‘after-sales’ service for breakdowns and off-hires. Maintain the database to enable accurate and useful data to be used for reports. Ensure owned plant and detection equipment is calibrated, maintained and inspected as per manufacturers specification**.**
**Key Accountabilities**
- Place Plant orders accurately, on a timely basis, and in accordance with company policy
- Check that correct rental costs are being charged on the invoices
- Ensure order specification is correctly understood before raising orders
- Review Plant order requests to ensure consistency with previous similar orders, and in accordance with company policy
- Liaise with yard staff to ensure a free flow of information about expected on & off-hires of plant items and status of owned equipment in the yard.
- Assist Transport Manager in the production of relevant statistics
- Work with other Team members to cover the BAU aspects of the Transport department.
**Key Skills and Experience**
**The below are desirable but not essential**:
- Knowledge of plant items supplied by major providers - e.g., GAP, Sunbelt Rentals, Speedy Hire
- Knowledge of civils plant items commonly used in the installation of fibre optic networks
- Experience of using Purchase Order and equipment databases

**Professional Qualifications/Training**
GCSE passes in Maths and English
**Salary**: £21,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday

- Longstanton, Cambridgeshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
