The Project Health & Safety Advisor position will report to the Health & Safety Manager and the respective Project Manager.
Supporting the Project Construction Manager(s) and Project H&S manager in anticipating, identifying, analysing and mitigating the job safety hazards that are relevant to construction projects, through Site Specific Safety Planning and/or through Correctiveand/or Preventative Action or completed analysis.
Continuously supervise construction project(s) to maintain an incident and injury free work environment while ensuring compliance with (local) H&S regulations. Provides technical expertise and consultation during pre-job planning throughout work activities.
Conduct safety inspections, and document near misses, injuries, and accidents and participate in Emergency Planning.
Provides on-going communication to supervision and management concerning H&S program performance. **Qualifications/skills required**:

- CSCS Card at Site Manager level or above.
- Professional H&S certification such as Certification in CDM, NEBOSH Diploma/ NVQL4 or equivalent.
- 5+ years of H&S/Construction Safety experience performing duties in a construction environment relevant HSE fields including understanding of safety in design, process as well as occupational safety experience on (large) construction sites.??????????????
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
- Thorough understanding of applicable construction occupational health and safety principles, and of local regulations
- Have experience with developing and maintaining management systems according to standards such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and/or ISO 9001.
- Experience with working at Safety Excellence level
- Excellent understanding of regulations such as Asbestos, CDM, DSEAR, COSHH
