**The Team**:
You will be working alongside highly skilled First Opinion Vets, Nurses, Client Care Assistants and Kennel Assistants. The team is friendly, supportive, and passionate about providing the highest standard of care to our in-patients. This is an extremely rewarding new job opportunity where you will be able to assist with a wide range of tasks such as feeding tubes, chest drains, advanced imaging and ECC Cases as well as building a report with the clients when providing updates and discharging. Each day will be different as we are always looking to expand our knowledge and encourage learning new skills.

**The Role**:
This is an exciting role within the First Opinion Inpatient Care Team, working alongside the Inpatient Care Vets and Nurses to ensure we deliver high standards of care.

Working with the team, you will be responsible for coordinating and assisting with inpatient procedures, discharges, nursing care and communicating with patient owners. The role provides an excellent opportunity to develop bonds with both patients and owners as well as the ability to provide ongoing care and support post discharge.

Caring for each patient individually, you will help assist both the inpatient care and procedures nursing teams with the administration of medication, blood sampling, IV catheters placement, feeding tube management and urinary catheters, monitoring sedations and anaesthesia.

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- Qualified RVN
- Experience of inpatient care
- Good team working skills
- Be able to organise, prioritise and communicate effectively
- Hardworking

**Desirable Skills and Experience**:

- Experience in a busy hospital
- Experience with urinary catheters, feeding tubes etc
- Eager to learn new skills
