We are currently seeking an **Internal Software Specialist** to join our experienced Licencing team. You will play a key pre-sales role by supporting the solution sales teams and providing expert advice and guidance around software licensing services.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Support clients with a diverse range of software licensing needs by making license renewal recommendations, identifying new opportunities, and providing overall guidance around the most appropriate Insight solution.
- Maintain a high level of understanding, and up to date knowledge of specific licensing programmes and related services.
- Provide support with the processing of the associated licensing programmes, services, and contract management requirements when needed including preparing quotes and accurately updating the CRM system in order to support deliverables.
- Support and advise internal and external clients to address a variety of licensing needs, facilitate successful issue remediation and collaborate with cross functional teams to identify additional client opportunities.
- Proactively reach out to clients before their licenses and contracts are due for renewal in order to facilitate, support and retain the sales renewal.
- Proactively keep abreast of licensing advancements by maintaining current, and undertaking new, certifications and accreditations.
**Who you are**
- Holds a relevant professional Software Licensing qualification and or accreditation (such as ‘Get Licensing Ready’)
- Demonstrates previous experience of working in a software sales environment
- Holds relevant vendor license accreditations (such as Adobe, Microsoft, MCT to expert level)
- Holds relevant professional Sales accreditation from a Tier 2 vendor
- Demonstrates in-depth license and software knowledge and the ability to self-learn the software licensing information necessary to be a key resource
- Knowledge of the sales process and methodologies in order to define client needs to delivering outcomes
- Prior experience of using administration and ordering systems
- Excellent organisational skills; prioritising and working to tight deadlines
- Ability to develop friendly, positive, and supportive working relationships with external and internal clients
