**Main Purpose of the Team**

The GNFR Procurement team provides group wide strategic procurement advice whether that is about out-sourcing business processes or the tactical purchase of goods and services. The team is primarily based in the UK but has local representation in all regions. We seek to help the business to engage with suppliers so that we get exactly what we require, on time, to quality and at a price that represents value for money.

**Main Purpose of the Role**
- To provide support to the Regional and Category teams to ensure that they are as effective and efficient as possible. This ranges from horizon scanning of new trends in procurement practices to digital tools that help with their day to day tasks._

**Experience**
- 2-3 years of experience in introducing Procurement best practice in multi-discipline business
- Tenacious and Patient when managing change through an organisation
- Able to operate at a strategic level and develop tools and tactics at an operational level that will contribute to Specsavers strategic goals
- Expert in Excel and data analytics and being able to create an insightful narrative from the information.
