**Your role**:
This is an exciting role as part of Housing Services within the Council’s Places Directorate, which is entering a period of transformational change and development. In this role you will resolve cases of disrepair brought to the council.
You will work closely with our customers, contractors and various council teams so the ability to build positive relationships with our customers and partners is vital, focusing on delivery of excellent customer care and a commitment to listening and learning from tenant views and feedback. Our priority is delivering high quality homes and services for our current and future tenants.
**About you**:
You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of repairs to disrepair cases. You will work with contractors to deliver a high standard of repairs in our tenant’s homes and communal areas ensuring service delivery is customer focused, consistently of the highest quality and cost effective.
You will embody our Team Wigan culture, behaviours and provide good quality homes for our existing and future tenants though disrepair casework.
