**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate welding equipment and power tools to fabricate and assemble metal components.
- Perform stick welding and other welding techniques as required.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication of parts.
- Utilise hand tools and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materials.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines efficiently.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in welding and fabrication, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Proficient in basic maths for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
- Experience with power tools, hand tools, sheet metal work, and assembly processes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- A valid welding certification is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: £17.76-£18.59 per hour

**Experience**:

- MIG welding: 1 year (preferred)
- Fabrication: 1 year (preferred)
