We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist, to join our Finance hub based in Leeds...
You will ensure accurate and timely creation of customer billing and cash allocation within the Finance systems. You will be tasked with overseeing billing operations and processes in order to ensure collection of account balances. This generally entails billing for invoiced orders, supporting collection efforts, and reviewing account discrepancies.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Processing files, logging information on to an Excel log and generating an invoice for all data worked.
- Invoicing clients & ensuring payment is received within terms.
- Accurate and timely entry of customer billing into Finance systems.
- Accurate and timely reconciliation of customer payments to debtor accounts.
- Producing customer statements and managing account reconciliation queries.
- Ensure all incoming queries (internally and externally) are resolved satisfactorily.
- Processing adjustments and corrections as appropriate.
- Categorising the shared team inbox.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
**Knowledge and skills**:
- Previous AR billing experience is essential
- Previous experience within a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Highly numerate
- Professional relationship building through personal engagement skills
- Experience working through a high-volume inbox & meeting deadline’s
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic/Intermediate Excel ability
- Oracle experience is desirable
- Resilience
- Influencing skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Personal organisation
- Motivated/ Enthusiastic
