Poultry Stockperson

**Location**:Near Marlborough, Wiltshire POTENTIAL CARAVAN ACCOMODATION ON SITE

**Days of work**: 6 days per week (one weekend day off per week)

**Hours of work**: 0600-3pm, 6 days per weeks

We are a well-established family business operating world leading centres of excellence in egg production and marketing close to one billion eggs per year. Currently recruiting a stockperson to work in one of our rearing units.
- be compassionate about animal welfare; have excellent time keeping, attendance and a flexible approach to working patterns providing continuity of team cover to ensure bird welfare
- have previous poultry experience, ideally with a formal qualification in animal husbandry
- have excellent communication skills, with the ability to perform efficiently and professionally in a fast moving challenging environment
- self-motivated, hands on, can do attitude - willing to get involved in all day-to-day tasks that keep the poultry unit legal and audit compliant ensuring the birds needs are met
- own transport essential due to the rural location of the site
- conversational and written English is an advantage

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
