Shift Supervisor

Real Ideas are looking for a Customer Experience Shift Supervisor to join our Pathways team. You will have day-to-day responsibility for the team of Customer Experience Hosts who are the first point of contact for Real Ideas members and visitors at Liskeard Library. You will play a vital role in ensuring everyone receives amazing customer experience, and excellent service and is welcomed with a smile.

In this role, your duties and responsibilities will include:

- Day to day, shift supervision of the Customer Experience Hosts at Liskeard Library, ensuring they provide a cheerful welcome, excellent, prompt, and efficient service that encourages visitors to keep coming back.
- As Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for working with and providing day-to-day oversight of a range of key tasks, including welcoming visitors to our spaces, checking tickets, running the café, and supporting visitors to use equipment, including VR suite, kiosks etc.
- You will ensure the team you are working with always actively promote everything on offer at Liskeard Library, across Real Ideas including the use of Cornwall Council Library services.
- Ensure you and those you work with can answer general questions from visitors and members about everything that happens in Liskeard Library.
- Ensure areas are kept tidy, clean, and well-organised always.
- Ensure Liskeard Library is alarmed, locked and secure at the end of every shift.
- Support event/experience delivery and facilitation including set up, take down and serving refreshments.
- Actively identify, communicate and where appropriate, seek to resolve issues raised by customers and visitors.
- Receive directions from the Real Ideas team.
