**After School Club Assistant/ After School Club Childcare Practitioner in Netherley, Liverpool, L27**

**3pm to 5.30pm. Monday to Friday**

**Pay: £10.90 - £12.21 per hour**

**Key responsibilities include**:
Ensure that the preparation, care, cleanliness and maintenance of the main hall are carried out according to risk assessments in place and following any relevant procedures (at the beginning and end of each day).
- Greet children, ensure they are signed in and convey any messages if applicable
- Collect registers and bring early starters into the main room
- Set up the room with age appropriate stimulating activities following EYFS guidelines and update planning sheets (if required)
- Prepare and provide ongoing food and drink opportunities
- Care for children in respect of toileting appropriate to age and stage of development
- Observe and update Children's Key Files/complete daily diaries with key information
- Update learning journals and update parents of changes (as and when required)
- Record details of any incident or accident that occurs with the children
- Assist in suitable activities for the children, both indoor and outdoor, detailing how they meet the EYFS guidelines
- To carry out any other duties that are within the employee's skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed
