Purpose
Employment Specialists will be expected to work intensively with a maximum active caseload of 25 to 30 participants. They will assisting them to obtain and sustain employment that is consistent with their vocational goals, following the eight principles of Individual Placement and Support (IPS). Meeting and exceeding performance targets for referrals, programme starts, employer engagement, job starts and sustainment, in compliance with contractual guidelines and quality procedures.
It is important for applicants to understand that IPS Employment Specialists are expected to be out working within the community for a minimum of 65% of their working week.

**You will have**:
Level 3 Diploma in Employability Services Sector Qualification or equivalent experience
Experience/understanding of working with people with mental health support needs, or a similar client group within health, social services or the voluntary sector
Experience of working with someone on a one-to-one basis
