**Job Overview**
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our finance team. Shellplant a family business have been based in Earls Barton for 54 years and are experiencing growth at the moment with a planned move for spring 2026 to move into new much larger premises still in the village
Although set as temporary this position could lead to full time employment
**Responsibilities**
- Maintain accurate records of all purchase invoices and payments.
- Process accounts payable transactions in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies as they arise.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to purchases and expenditures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth procurement processes.
- Utilise accounting software and reporting.
- Support the finance team with general administrative tasks as required.

- Proficiency in accounting software,
- Strong financial management skills with a focus on accounts payable processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
