**Job Title**: Handyman - 3-Month Fixed-Term (Self-Employed)
**Location**: Liverpool, Merseyside (with potential travel to Lewisham, Croydon, Hackney, Catford, and Downham)
**Hours**: Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
**Pay**: £15.50 per hour (self-employed basis) + mileage reimbursement (if using own vehicle)
**Contract Type**: Fixed-term - 3 months, self-employed

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to join us for a 3-month fixed-term contract. This is a self-employment arrangement, ideal for someone with strong general maintenance skills and the ability to work independently.

You will be responsible for carrying out repairs, improvements, and upkeep at our properties in Liverpool and, when needed, at other locations. Mileage expenses will be covered when using your own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities
- General maintenance and repairs, including:

- Painting and decorating
- Fixing cupboards, doors, and tiling
- Laying laminate flooring
- Repairing holes and minor electrical issues
- Other agreed handyman tasks
- Working to a high standard of safety and quality
- Managing your own workload and tools

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Handyman or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of general repairs and maintenance
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Own tools and transport required
- Enhanced DBS required (we can arrange this if needed)
- Willingness to travel to various sites when required
- Flexibility for occasional additional hours

Additional Information
- This is a self-employed position - you will be responsible for managing your own taxes and National Insurance contributions.
- You are welcome to take on other work outside the agreed hours, provided there is no conflict with our needs.
- Start date: Immediate
