PSV / PCV Mechanic required. Streamline Search are currently working with a leading Transport & Logistics company based within the Heathrow and surrounding area actively seeking an experienced PSV Mechanic to join their successful team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven and experienced PSV or PCV Mechanic to join a leading and highly regarded logistics firm on a full-time permanent basis.

Our client work in multiple sectors with complete UK wide coverage. Throughout the Covid pandemic, our client has won and extended major contracts. Due to this, they now require skilled staff in their Heathrow location.

**PSV / PCV Mechanic - Position Overview**

The role will involve ensuring all vehicles are compliant to meet the company operator’s licence, engineering policy and Statutory law in respect of safety, reliability and condition through effective work, preventative maintenance, and utilisation of facilities.

Working Tuesday to Saturday, the successful applicant will also monitor the driver and vehicle defect systems to implement prompt action to clear defects ensuring that no vehicle returns to service in an illegal or unsafe condition and ensure the efficientimplementation of all work programmes i.e., Servicing, Repairs, road calls and modification programmes.
- General servicing of vehicles
- Repairing vehicles in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current legislation.
- Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.
- Preparation and presentation of vehicles for annual MOT inspection.
- Diagnosis of vehicles using computer based diagnostic equipment.
- Good housekeeping routines to meet H&S requirements.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed to a high standard.
- Utilise all Personal Protective Equipment, as necessary

**PSV / PCV Mechanic - Position Requirements**
- Ideally 3 years’ experience in PSV or PCV Mechanic role, although would consider less.
- NVQ level 2 or level 3 in heavy vehicle repair or equivalent.
- Full UK driving licence (Cat D preferred)

**PSV / PCV Mechanic - Position Remuneration**
- Salary £45,000 (starting mark)
- Monday - Friday.
- 28 days holiday, including bank holidays.
