Iapt Lead and Therapies Coordinator

The role of IAPT Lead and Therapies Coordinator is in place to manage the commissioned Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) service and support the volunteer counselling and listening services. You will work in Watford and will be required to travel to other offices occasionally for meetings so a car and driving licence will be essential.
This role is a two year fixed term contract.
The key actives are:
- The day to day running of the IAPT Service.
- Leading the service to achieve the KPIs, including financial targets and targets for session delivery numbers, and meet the contract requirements.
- Providing non-clinical management to the bank IAPT counsellors.
- Co-ordinating the appointments for volunteer counsellors and listeners to maximise the available appointments, ensuring that clinical records are updated on SystmOne.
- Acting as a Rennie Grove and Peace ambassador within the community.
You will therefore need to demonstrate your abilities in the following areas:
- A good understanding of technology with a working knowledge of Microsoft office packages i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Able to build good working relationships.
- Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Good administrative and record keeping skills and able to work with good attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Sensitivity and understanding to the needs of the volunteers and customers, many of whom may have experienced Rennie Grove and Peace services or be bereaved
- Ability to produce reports to a required specification.
