**Spencer Clarke Group** are working alongside a Local Authority in Dudley to appoint a **Gas Manager** on a 6 month contract.

This role will manage the delivery of a number of Compliance needs & Energy upgrade projects within a Gas team workstream providing management and control over planning, design and Maintenance across DMBC gas assets. The Team Manager Gas will be responsiblefor the Gas team. You will play a key role influencing and supporting the strategic redevelopment of the DMBC Gas & Energy team

**As a successful Gas Manager, your duties will be**:

- Ensuring compliance with gas and servicing to regulatory & ACOP standards
- Ensuring the contractors are managed well to deliverer a safe and complaint Gas service & Repairs contract
- Holding frequent meetings with contractor, analysing reports and acting from them, ensuring future planning are delegates correctly and in line with DMBC Gas & Fuel Poverty programmes

**To be considered, you will have the following knowledge/experience**:

- Experience managing staff and budgets
- Good technical knowledge of gas and energy works, especially within the social housing sector
- Experience in contract management, experience in managing a team on Responsive, servicing and CDM projects or Design and Build Boiler Houses and district Heat networks
- A gas qualification such as ACS or Corgi Level 4 in Gas Management is highly desirable

**What’s on offer**
- Salary: up to £21.50 to 25.50 per hour
- Contract type: 6 Months
- Hours: Mon-Fri 37 hrs
- Location: Hybrid working (WFH, with site visits needed around Dudley)
