**The role**:
We’re looking for lively, attentive, and energetic people to join our welcoming housekeeping team. Our housekeeping supervisors supports the Head housekeeper with the day-to-day running of the department and supports the team to prepare guests’ rooms for their arrival, play a vital role in ensuring the hotel is clean, safe and looks first-class every day.

You’ll be most content working behind the scenes, but warm and friendly with everyone you meet and feel valued in your team. You’ll understand the importance of the work you do and will be proud when you notice and fix even the smallest of details. Trust makes our team strong and happy. Once you’re trained up and confident you’ll become a housekeeper and be given the space to manage your own list, with contracted hours and the opportunity for overtime if you want to do more.

**What your days could look like**
- To prepare and carry out all cleaning schedules for all areas of responsibility
- To ensure that all products and equipment are stored correctly
- To supervise and monitor laundry control
- To train all new team members and carry out coaching / corrective training in an existing team member as and when required to do so
- To carry out daily checks on all the rooms, linen rooms / service cupboards, public areas and to follow through any issues arising from them
- To ensure that all equipment is kept in good working order and any faults are reported to maintenance
- To follow all health and safety, manual handling and COSHH regulations
- To ensure that maximum efficiency is achieved through teamwork
- Ensure all staff are aware of health and safety and report any dangers
- Be aware of fire procedures and be able to implement them in case of alarm activating
- Perform any additional duties as required by the Head Housekeeper or Deputy Head Housekeeper
