We are looking for a reliable and professional Security Guard to join our team. In this role, you will be the first line of defence in safeguarding our people, premises, and assets. You will provide a visible and reassuring presence across our sites, responding swiftly and effectively to incidents, and ensuring a safe and secure environment for everyone.
**Key Responsibilities will include**
- Conduct regular patrols and monitoring of the premises.
- Respond swiftly to alarms, incidents, and disturbances.
- Manage site access, verifying staff, contractors, and visitors.
- Operate and monitor CCTV, alarm, and other security systems.
- Maintain accurate security logs, reports, and incident records.
- Liaise confidently with emergency services when required.
**What we’re looking for**:
- Previous experience in security, facilities, or a similar role.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A calm, decisive, and professional approach under pressure.
It would be advantageous if you also have:
- A valid SIA Licence.
- First Aid training.
- Experience with CCTV and alarm systems.
**Hours of work**
This is a full-time role (39.5 hours per week). Flexibility is essential as shifts will include evenings, weekends, and additional cover during seasonal peaks.
