This is a brand new role working as Operational Lead in our Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Service. We are currently developing a new Mother and Baby Unit and this post will oversee the recruitment and implementation of the operational side of the unit and oversee the flagship community team.

The post-holder will be a key member of the Senior Management Team and as such will support the Associate Director of Operations, Head of Operations, Clinical Director and Head of Clinical Services in the implementation of local and national strategies and provide professional and managerial links within the Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Service.

To line manage the leadership staff within the CWP Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Community Team and inpatient Mother and Baby Unit, ensuring objectives are set, monitored and development opportunities provided in line with supervisions and PDP’s.

To be part of the Management on-call rota.

CWP provides health and care services for local people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care - including the provision of three GP surgeries.

All new clinical support staff will be required to have completed or working towards the Care Certificate (CWP In-house 2 day training to be completed within 6 months of start date).

Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. A small annual fee of £13 per year applies.

New entrants to the NHS will commence on the minimum of the scale stated above.
