Payroll Administrator

We are currently in need of a part time Payroll Administrator in Falmouth. The client is a large educational establishment that caters for students all over the world.
- Hourly Rate: £12.45
- Hybrid working with days split between home and the clients main site
- Days of work: Around 3 to 4 days a week
- Hours: Dependant if you can work 3 or 4 days per week

What you will be doing
- Experience of working in a payroll environment with a good understanding of payroll legislation and processes
- Answering pay queries from managers and employees
- Processing and checking monthly time and expense claims
- Preparing and checking information to submit to the monthly payroll, including starters, leavers, amendments, absences and deductions.
- Prepare, input and check data for workers (this will include set up and payments)
- Monitoring and setting up statutory and voluntary deductions
- _ Assisting with pension administration (this is more desirable than essential)_
- Good working knowledge of all areas of Payroll
- Experience in processing payroll in a Practice or Payroll Bureau environment
- Ability to carry out manual calculation
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Good attention to detail
- Self-motivated
- Excellent client care skills
- Confidence to communicate at all levels
