**Graduate Electronics Engineer**
**_We are working with a well-recognised consumer electronics company, who requires a Graduate Electronics Engineer to join their busy research and development department in Cambridge._**
The Electronics Engineer will work as part of the electronics team to design and test a variety of consumer products for a successful and expanding firm that strives to maintain its original dynamic and start-up spirit. Your role will include: PCB developmentfor embedded systems, test rig creation, hardware/firmware integration, and system testing will all be part of the job.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you will create PCBs for consumer devices by performing tasks such as analog/digital design, part selection, prototyping/simulation, schematic capture and layout (Altium), verification, fault-finding, and transfer to manufacturing.
- Product testing should be performed (EMC/compliance, functionality, reliability, and safety). You will need to create test rigs and processes for lab and manufacturing testing, including the usage of LabVIEW (optional but recommended) and electronic testequipment.
- You will be working with firmware and project engineers to ensure that the appliances function properly and meet the specifications.
- Communicate with outside consultants/contractors, suppliers, contract manufacturers, mechanical engineers, and project engineers.
**REQUIREMENTS**
2+ years of experience as an Electrical Design Engineer
Experience in Consumer-based products
Experience with PCB
Experience in CAD
**Location**Cambridge
**Type**Permanent
