Tig Welder

RMS are currently recruiting for a great opportunity for a **TIG Welder** to join a well-established and growing Sheet Metal Fabrication Company.

Initially you will work on the dayshift to undertake a period of training, following which you will move onto a 2-shift rotation (Early & Late Shift) with early finishes on a Friday.
- Be a confident TIG welder able to read engineering drawings without assistance.
- Should have 12 months welding experience in sheet metal or similar type of environment.
- Must be comfortable reading and interpreting weld symbols.
- Must be able to work free hand as well as using jigs and fixtures

Main duties will range from day to day using many different material types and thicknesses ranging from 0.9m - 5mm mild steel, 1mm - 10mm aluminium & 1mm - 3mm stainless steel.

This role will predominately involve working with stainless steel.

This is a **permanent position,** and the salary is £12.75 per hour while training on day shift and then increases to £15.30 per hour on shift rotations.
