**Job description** Jackson Hogg are delighted to be working with a construction organisation in Doncaster on a Commercial Estimator requirement.

Key responsibilities:
Commercial
- Develop accurate and consistent quotations, bids and tenders with the help of relevant departments.
- Review and develop costing processes and establish systems for accurate job cost evaluation.
- Maintain sustainable and productive relationships with existing clients and suppliers.
- Assist with other commercial activity including contract negotiations, liaison with production planning, suppliers and customers.
- Assess risks involved with new initiatives, ensure deadlines are met and be ready to handle unexpected situations.
- Identify opportunities to expand the business, including through partnerships, alliances and development of new and existing markets and products.
- Analyse sales, marketing, finance and other information to gain insights into how to improve performance and maximize growth.
- Assist in the development and growth of existing and new areas of business for Trackwork’s UK manufacturing facilities whilst implementing appropriate systems and processes to reduce costs and improve competitiveness.

Qualifications and Experience Levels:

- Educated to BTEC or equivalent NVQ level 5 in a relevant manufacturing / commercial discipline.
- Demonstrable experience of a manufacturing commercial environment with a proven track record in delivering accurate commercial information on time.
- Ability to add value, reduce costs and make business improvements.
- Proven product and industry knowledge.
- Experience of operating and influencing at a strategic level.
- Knowledge and technical understanding of manufacturing / commercial processes, components and techniques.
