Care Assistant at The Fountains Care Centre

Halcyon Care is a family operated organization, operating across 14 locations. Halcyon Care’s ethos is ‘We don’t just care for you, we care about you.’ We are now looking to recruit Health Care Assistants days or nights, full-time/part-time to join our team at The Fountains Care Centre, Tetney near Grimsby.
**Responsibilities**:
- To work collaboratively with team members to provide a high standard of care for the residents, which is flexible, sensitive, person centered and in accordance with company policies.
- Assist residents in a manner to promote independence and involvement, respect resident’s rights, choices and beliefs, and achieves positive outcomes.
- To ensure care is provided in accordance with the resident’s care plan and report any changes in a resident’s condition to the Senior Care Assistant.
- Respond to requests from residents either by staff alert or other means of communication in a positive, polite and helpful manner and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Contribute to the development of the home by attendance at staff meetings and involvement in team discussion and attend training sessions and adopt a positive attitude to self-development. Complete the training programme which is drawn up annually.
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with Company policies.
Experience Required
- Experience in working in the care industry would be preferred.
- An NVQ in Health and Social Care would be preferred.
- Must have an honest, caring approach with a willingness to help others.
- Must be punctual and reliable and a team-player
