Front of House Staff

To support the addition of new rooms Meikleour Estate is looking for a **FOH person with experience for their award winning country inn and restaurant The Meikleour Arms (AA BEST PUB SCOTLAND 2019/20). **We can only consider applicants who are eligible to work in the UK.

The Meikleour Arms (4 Star Gold, 1 Rosette) has been in the same family for 200 years and is at the centre of the beautiful conservation village of Meikleour near Blairgowrie. It is a high-end boutique hotel with a beautiful award winning restaurant attracting a varied customer base all year long: locals, salmon anglers, golfers, shooting parties and holiday makers. They have made a name in quality country food and are lucky to have access to superb produce from their own land.

Great communication and presentation, attention to details and a big welcoming smile is a must. A **keen interest in food and wine and good local knowledge of the area would make all the difference for our guests. **Depending on your shift you will be serving restaurant guests or running the bar. In this pandemic environment we are looking for an extremely organised and conscientious individual, able to take up extra responsibilities if needed.

We offer both flexi or 40 hour a week-contract
**Hourly pay for experienced staff = £12.33/hour (£11/hour + holiday pay) and in addition you will receive tips from around £1.50/hour **(tips from an HRMC compliant Tronc system).
For a 40 hour a week contract this is the equivalent of £22880 per year, plus over £3000 of tips so a package of £25880 (with 28 days paid holiday)
- Shared accommodation in the village can be arranged if required (as part of 40 hour /week salary package)
