We are looking for a motivated individual with a passion and interest for working with young people experiencing an eating disorder to join our team. If not already acquired, training in the core Eating Disorder NICE con-concordant treatments will be available with supervision specific to treatment also in place.
In addition to direct clinical work (assessment and intervention), there will be the opportunity to use a range of core systemic skills including co running a family therapy clinic and delivering multi family therapy.
The key therapeutic modalities delivered are family based work for eating disorders, CBT-E and multi family therapy. The post holder will play an important role in supporting the systemic thinking around the provision and evaluation of care provided within the service, including offering team systemic supervision.
There are professional links across Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, with structures in place for supervision and governance arrangements. The post holder will be working alongside, and be supported by, the Consultant Family Therapist in Buckinghamshire CAMHS Eating Disorder Service.
This position is full-time 37.5 hours per week.
We are a well established CAMHS Eating Disorder Service delivering high standards of care with an emphasis on continuous improvement. As a service we are working towards our QNCC accreditation and have won two national conference awards for our participation strategy and conference contributions. We invest in research and welcome participation throughout all of our service developments.
