Magnolia House is looking for a full time Day Senior Care Assistant to add to our team. We are a residential and dementia Care home for the elderly.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead staff on shift
- Guide and support staff
- Carry out supervisions
- Promote good practice
- Ensure and assist to ensure schedules are being completed including cleaning
- Administer medication to residents
- Care planning for our elderly residents
- Dealing with healthcare professionals, doctors, social workers and families of the elderly.
- Manage a shift competently with the support of the Home manager, and Deputy managers

**Requirements**:

- Minimum NVQ 2 and or working towards NVQ3 or higher.
- Undergo a DBS check which the company would meet the cost of.
- _**Experience working with in a Care Home setting is essential and required**_
- **We work on a two weekly rolling rota from 7am-7pm, the shift pattern is as follows**:_
- **Week 1**_
-**:

- Monday, Tuesday, Saturday Sunday**_
- **Week 2**_
- **-Wednesday, Thursday, Friday**_

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.37 per hour

**Salary**: £12.32 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mansfield, NG19 7RA: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Senior Care Assistant: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- NVQ Level 2 or 3 Health & Social Care (required)
