**THE COMPANY**:
Our client are a well established law firm based in London that provide legal services to clients throughout the United Kingdom. They are looking for a professional and hardworking Paralegal to join their construction team in the London office.
**THE ROLE**:
This role is for a hard working individual who has an interest in construction law. Some of the main duties and responsibilities may include (but not limited to):
- Assisting in the case management on fee earning basis; including diarising key dates and chasing where necessary to meet court/adjudication deadlines.
- Assisiting the clients with investigation being carried out by regulatory bodies, such as the fire and rescue service
- Providing clients with progress reports as and when required
- Assisting in instructing technical experts and arranging inspections
- Assist in drafting advice to clients on construction disputes including payments, extensions of time, loss and expense, defects and insurance issues.
**THE PERSON**:
- A strong academic background to undergraduate level (LPC preferable)
- High attention to detail
- Excellent drafting and communication skills
- Able to work within a team (this may include assisting solicitors from other offices and picking up work as required)
