An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, passionate and knowledgeable Health or Social Care professional to join a committed Corporate Safeguarding Team within BCUHB. Initially this post will be based and focused on the acute services at Wrexham Maelor Hospital. Applications are encouraged from a wide range of disciplines with a broad range of experience within children and adult services to take forward an all age based approach to safeguarding; this role is predominantly for hospital liaison.

The post holder will work to provide specialist safeguarding support to all clinicians providing supervision, advice, guidance and training relating to the Safeguarding agenda. A significant element of the role will be working in partnership within a multi-agency arena ensuring effective communication, learning and collaboration is progressed between BCUHB and partner agencies.

The post holder must be professionally registered and hold the essential qualifications and have relevant safeguarding experience as listed in the personal specification. The post holder will be passionate about the Safeguarding agenda and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work well both independently and within an enthusiastic, friendly and dynamic integrated team.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.
