Our friendly team at Meallmore are looking for a Laundry Assistant to be part of the team in Auchtercrag House Care Home. Set within the quaint town of Ellon, less than half an hour from Aberdeen, Auchtercrag House is a purpose-built, care facility.

**Your role as a Laundry Assistant will include**:

- Handle laundry and ensure proper handling of residents' personal items.
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitisation of resident rooms, common areas, and facilities to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Restock and maintain supplies in resident rooms and common areas.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines to protect the health of our residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents and staff to meet their needs and address any concerns.
- Daily completion of cleaning schedules and documents

**Skills and Requirements**:

- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

**Salary**: £11.50 per hour + overtime rates + benefits

Hours: 17.5 hours per week (5 pm - 10.30 pm)
