About Us:
We have a great opportunity within our growing Café in our unique and exciting venue. Blackpit Estates comprises 430 acres of beautiful parkland, ancient woodland and lakes. Along with an established Brewery, we host a successful onsite café along with private events as well as our own Summer festival and large racing events.

**Job Type**: Full Time

Pay: £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 hours per week

Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday 8.30am - 3.30pm

Location: Blackpit Brewery, MK18 5LJ

Start date: December 2024

Qualifications/skills:

- Experience in a café environment
- Experience in leading small teams
- Barista trained is preferable
- Familiarity with food preparation and handling practices
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a faced paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively

Experience (preferred, but not limited to):

- Café environment (1 year)
- Hospitality (1 year)
- Customer service (1 year)
- Barista Training
- To be the lead onsite for the cafe team
- Manage stock levels and making orders
- To ensure the café is clean and presentable throughout service times
- Ensure the counter is well stocked, prepared and cleaned as necessary
- Be fully informed and up to date on menu options and menu changes, liaise with supervisors and chefs before shift begins
- Take customer’s orders for food courteously and efficiently, offering assistance as required ensuring the customer is dealt with before moving on to the next
- Operate the tills efficiently and accurately
- Prepare a variety of coffees to a high standard (training will be given)
- Maintain the high standards of hygiene and food safety required (training will be given)
- Operate dishwasher: Wash, stack and transfer crockery and cutlery stocks to kitchen and service areas
- Liaising with the Head Chef and Venue Manager
- To assist with any further duties that may be reasonably required, to help support the Café, Tap Room and Events team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
