We are currently seeking an experienced Steel Fixer to join a project in Manchester. The role involves working on a busy construction site, with responsibilities including the installation and fixing of steel reinforcement as part of ongoing construction work.

**Job Details**:

- **Working Hours**: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

**Requirements**:

- Valid **Blue CSCS Card**:

- Full **PPE** (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Own **Tools**:

- Previous experience in steel fixing is essential

**Responsibilities**
- Install and secure steel reinforcement bars in concrete structures using hand and power tools.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate placement of steel.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
- Perform heavy lifting and maneuvering of materials as required.
- Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
- Utilize welding techniques as needed to enhance structural integrity.

Pay: £24.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Steel fixer: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- CSCS NVQ (required)

Work Location: In person
