**The Role**

We have a vacancy for an MBT Supervisor at our site in Rotherham. You will be responsible for safely managing of all operational resource to maximise plant performance, whilst maintaining a safe work environment at all times. Shifts are Monday - Saturday rotating (earlies, afters and nights)

Duties include
- Carrying out regular stock and inventory of all materials on site
- Keeping abreast of changes to company standards and legislation
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance, inspections and cleaning in order to minimise downtime
- Lead and participate in CI improvement projects
- Ensuring productivity and availability exceeds minimum defined standards
- Implementing best practice and continuous improvement in cost control/process operations
- Controlling material movements in and out of the plant
- Providing records of all plant operations, settings and stoppages, and to attribute causes to all unplanned downtime
- Implementing and ensuring compliance standards
- Analysing and reviewing maintenance activities, cost control, health and safety and service KPI’s and implementing necessary corrective actions in the event of variance
- Ensuring a high level of housekeeping is maintained in all areas
- To work at Barnsley Transfer Station as required
**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Previous experience as a Supervisor / Team Leader in an operational environment
- Basic plant maintenance and mechanical skills
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
- Good communication skills; be able to communicate at all levels throughout the company and externally
- Experience in the Control of contractors
- Microsoft office Skills (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
- Good organizational skills
- Full UK car driving licence
