**THE ROLE**

**Key responsibilities will include;**
- Routine monitoring of pipeline Cathodic Protection systems, including fault finding and carrying our remedial activities.
- Routine maintenance of Transformer Rectifiers, ground beds and test posts.
- Routine CIPS and DCVG surveys
- Linewalking surveys and remedial actions generated.
- Carrying out excavations on high pressure assets.
- Routine monitoring of pipeline protection sleeves, including nitrogen filled sleeves.
- Assisting on High Pressure operational activities, including Non-Routine Operations and in particular In-Line Inspections.

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**
- Good knowledge and experience of Cathodic Protection systems.
- Excellent communication skills to ensure positive interactions with all stakeholders.
- Good understanding of the high-pressure pipeline network owned and operated by SGN.
- A flexible and positive attitude to work, self-motivated to deliver work to a high standard.
- Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and maps.
- Awareness of procedures relevant to Pipelines, particularly; SGN/WI/SW/2, IGEM TD/1, IGEM SR/18, & SGN/PM/MAINT/5.
- You must be physically fit, capable of walking long distances over rough ground.
- You will be expected to take part in the Maintenance standby as required.
- Full driving license is essential.
