Due to newly awarded contracts we are seeking a number of qualified and experienced asbestos surveyors.

Although predominantly based in the North East you may be required to travel to other areas of the country as and when required by the business along with attending training when required at our head office in Hebburn, Tyne and Wear.

The role provides a company vehicle, fuel card, 33 days holidays (including bank holidays), all accommodation and meals provided if/when required.

We are UKAS accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 and 17020 with offices in the North East and Bristol.

**Essential qualifications and experience**:

- A valid UK Driving license is essential.
- Experience of using TEAMS (The Electronic Asbestos Management Software) would be an advantage although not essential as full training will be given.

As an Asbestos Surveyor you will...
- Have effective communication skills and the ability to liaise with contractors
- Have a strong work ethic
- Have strong IT skills
- Be conversant with current Asbestos & Health and Safety legislation and guidance
- Be flexible in your approach to working hours
- Be self-motivated and also able to work as part of a team
- Be competent in literacy and numeracy to construct accurate reports

The Role:
Your main responsibilities as an Asbestos Surveyor will be to undertake all branches of surveying works.
You will be responsible for:

- Carrying out asbestos surveys; management, refurbishment and demolition surveys in a range of settings
- Creating reports
- Building and maintaining customer relations
- Representing the company well at all times and in interactions with clients
- Conducting site walkthroughs and survey plans
