Following a recent restructure and moving to a people partnering model, this newly created role will work closely to lead and support our housing construction, repairs and maintenance business unit.
**The Role**
The People Partner will act as a trusted advisor to support the business unit through a variety of different methods such as building and maintaining positive culture, developing and implementing talent initiatives, alongside full generalist HR initiativesand projects including but not limited to workforce planning, performance management and change management.
Working closely with the Head of People Partnering and Group Director of People and Culture, this role will be key in helping strengthen capability and confidence through coaching and advising key stakeholders in all aspects of HR and people practices. Thisis a generalist role which will also support the business areas in day-to-day activities as well as collaborate with other people partners and Learning & Development related plans. This role is responsible for circa 300 staff.
**Key responsibilities include:**:

- Identify HR priorities from corporate and departmental plans, translating business requirements into effective workforce plans delivering people solutions.
- Redesigning organisational structures and managing the delivery of operational HR activities throughout the employee life cycle (recruitment, onboarding, pay grading, performance management, well-being, change management and exit/termination).
- Lead on change management initiatives including, for example restructuring and TUPE, whilst providing high quality HR advice, support and interventions and ensuring legal compliance and best practice.
- To take the lead for management of HR data for relevant business unit and working with colleagues to improve the quality HR data for key stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of HR policies, procedures and other HR documentation.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues in HR to deliver a pro-active and solutions focussed service.

**Salary**
Circa. £50,000 per annum + benefits

**Working Arrangements**
Location: Dagenham, London/Essex. This is an office-based role with hybrid working options available.
