**Senior Payroll Administrator**

My client is a well-established Accountancy firm. Based in several locations they are recruiting for their Newcastle office. Based in a small and busy team you will be working on a portfolio of clients. Our client is looking for an experienced Senior PayrollAdministrator to join them on a permanent basis.

Reporting directly to Payroll Operations Manager you will be responsible for the timely and accurate process of client's payroll for varied weekly, biweekly & monthly payroll.

**Responsibilities and requirements**
- Process higher graded payrolls & maintaining high standard to ensure efficient and accurate setting up and or the processing of all client payrolls.
- Conduct client on-site visits and provide technical assistance to the Business Development Manager
- interact with all Partners and colleagues of the firm as they may require advice on Payroll related matters
- Knowledge of the Payroll processing and / or onboarding procedures
- Administering and transmitting RTI files to HMRC
- Producing payslips
- Ensuring BACS payments are ready to be sent
- Excellent customer service
- Dealing with queries from clients & the payroll department
- Attending events
- Supporting the Operations team
- Process Improvement and recommendations
- Assisting with training and acting as a friend for new team members
- Keeping up to date with changes to legislation
- Discuss requirements with external clients and solve any problems
- Deputise for the Payroll Team Leader Providing feedback and knowledge to aid the Payroll Team Leaders
